The Standard

What is MEV?

Milestone Economic Value (MEV) is an open economic standard defining how verifiable value is generated from real activity, accumulated toward milestones, and marked by formal state transitions called Epochs. MEV is architecture-agnostic, chain-optional, and industry-universal.

MEV is not a product. Not a token. Not a protocol. It is a standard — like HTTP defines how websites communicate, MEV defines how economic value is generated, measured, and distributed. Any system with measurable activity, verifiable output, and structured progression can adopt it.
